There are various disinfection methods for ceramic tableware, and the most commonly used and effective methods include boiling disinfection, steam disinfection, using a disinfection cabinet, soaking in 84 disinfectant, and microwave disinfection.
Firstly, boiling disinfection is a simple and effective method of disinfection. Disinfect washed ceramic tableware in boiling water for 2-5 minutes, or use the steam generated by boiling water in a pot to disinfect for 5-10 minutes, which can kill most bacteria and virus12.
Secondly, steam disinfection is also a commonly used method. Place the washed and clean tableware in a steam cabinet or box, raise the temperature to 100 ℃, and disinfect for 5-10 minutes. This method will not cause the tableware to hang with water or alkali, and the effect is also very good.
Additionally, using a disinfection cabinet is also a convenient option. Disinfection cabinets can be disinfected using ozone, ultraviolet radiation, or high temperature methods. After thoroughly cleaning the dishes, they can be placed in the disinfection cabinet and disinfected. The disinfected dishes can be used directly without the need for further cleaning.
In addition, soaking in 84 disinfectant solution is also an effective disinfection method. Soak tableware in chlorine containing disinfectants such as 84 disinfectant at the recommended concentration (250mg/L) according to national standards for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse with clean water to achieve disinfection effect.
Finally, microwave disinfection is suitable for tableware that is not resistant to high temperatures. Wrap the tableware with a damp towel and place it in the microwave. Microwave for 1-2 minutes to kill more than 90% of harmful bacteria, but be aware that metal tableware is not suitable for microwave disinfection.
Through the above methods, ceramic tableware can be effectively disinfected to ensure safety and hygiene during use.
